“Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which we have of God. And ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s” I Corinthians 6:19-20

2009 WALKING CLUB
"Steppin' With The Savior"
WHAT IS IT?
The Family Life Center (FLC) Staff invites you to join our 2009 Walking Club.
Our theme for this year is, “Steppin' With the Savior". The cost is $5.00 per person, and it covers the entire year!
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The Walking Club is for those who are in the sixth grade or older who want to walk on our track,
or use the treadmills/total body trainer(not exercise bike) in the weight room.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Come in and walk as often as you want. Record your mileage on your Club card.
It will be easy to track becaus you'll be tallying your total as you go along.
The Club cards are kept in an index box on the courtesy counter.
Fifteen laps around the track is a mile. Don't forget to check out the weekly memory verse!
WHEN CAN I WALK?
The normal FLC hours are 7am to 9pm on Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday. On Wednesdays, it's 7am to 3pm, Fridays, it's 7am to 6pm, and Saturday's schedule is 8am to 11am. Please be aware that hours may vary due to other church or FLC scheduled events.
WHY DO IT?
It's a healthy way to exercise. Walkers have less occurrences of cancer, heart disease,
stroke, diabetes and other killer diseases. They live longer and get mental health and spiritual benefits.
You can view the scenery from above (sunrises, sunsets), memorize scripture, pray, read, sing,
and so much more. It's fun! It's easy! It's relaxing!
